What is “pikkujoulu” in Finnish workplace culture?
Pikkujoulu, literally “little Christmas,” is the Finnish workplace pre-Christmas party, held any time from early November through mid-December. Companies, departments, and friend groups all hold their own pikkujoulu, complete with a buffet, drinking, and the optional sauna.
