What is a “Tonka truck”?

A Tonka truck is a yellow steel toy dump truck made by the American company Tonka, founded in 1947 in Mound, Minnesota. The trucks are famous for being almost impossible to break: kids drop them, ride them, and leave them outside for years, and they keep working. Older Americans still talk about their Tonka trucks the way British kids might talk about a Lego set.

This clip is a comedy skit in the style of the 1989 Disney film Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: an adult has been shrunk to toy size, hides in a dollhouse, and finds a Tonka truck big enough to drive. The premise only works because every American watching knows the Tonka brand and the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids reference.
